Viv and Adrian were very welcoming and provided lift to Hay on Wye for one of our walks. There is a Pub close by, where we enjoyed a lovely steak pie and chips after our first walk. We had a good breakfast the next morning before setting off on our next walk.

I’ve seen... read more in a very long time. We had a beautiful afternoon tea. We had a fun swim surrounded by beautiful grounds. Vivian and Adrian cannot do enough for you. We had a beautiful breakfast in the morning I cannot say anymore about them. It is just the most wonderful magical place and I do intend to stay there again as I have been a few times before we’ve always had a lovely time . Thank you so very much. See you soon.

The room and en suite facilities were of a... read more very high standard, easily the best we experienced during our week’s walk along Offa’s Dyke. Vivienne cooked a delicious evening meal the first night and the breakfasts were equally good. Adrian offered us a taxi service so that we could walk two legs of the Offa’s Dyke route and stay two nights, which minimised disruption. A swim in the pool after a long day’s walk was very welcome. I highly recommend Offa’s Dyke lodge which is located in some beautiful Welsh border countryside.

We used the pool, which was great... read more for tired legs. Viv and Adrian made us feel really welcome and we took advantage of evening meals, breakfasts and packed lunch - all were excellent. We had seen the reviews when we were planning our trip and we made sure to include this as a stopover. We are very glad we did! We hope to return to stay at the B&B and do some day walks in the area (without heavy expedition packs!)

The rooms are lovely and - weather permitting - sitting outside on your own patio you can easily spend the day just listening to and looking at the surroundings. Vivienne and Adrian are most welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. You needn't bring supplies or rely on the odd food serving timetable of the local pub as you can opt for dinner at the b&b - it is a real treat. I absolutely recommend this wonderful place - not only to walkers (you could pitch your tent in the garden as an alternative to staying indoors). A five star b&b in a beautiful setting!

Lovely home cooked food in a beautiful part of the country, just off Offa's Dyke... read more so perfect for hikers like us. The pool is perfect after a hot day walking. Our room was decorated well with tea, coffee, milk and snacks. The shower was great and the garden and house beautiful.

    For anyone in this region, especially hikers, Offa's Dyke Lodge is the perfect place for an overnight stay and a chance to unwind in a peaceful setting.

We walked Offa's Dyke path to Hay and it's a great 10 mile walk - lovely varied scenery and you end up walking over the Wye into Hay with all its bookshops and cafes. A great place to stay if you love peace, quiet and walking!

Adrian would... read more then drop us off at a suitable point to continue with our daily eight to ten miler. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Great chats, lots of helpful information and even a trim thrown in, yes, Viv is a hairdresser too! Do go, you'll have a great time. Trish and Linda.

The next day we walked from the accommodation to Evenjobb Mast, another 10 miles or so, from where Adrian picked us up and took us back. PERFECT. Highly recommend.

There was a hospitality tray in the room which included cake, biscuits and tea/coffee with fresh milk.
    There was an outdoor decking area but it was too cool to sit out and there was an outdoor swimming pool, but again too cool to use on this occasion.
    Our hosts provided lovely evening meals, lovely breakfast, but also transportation services.
    Viv & Adrian are lovely people and would do anything for you. Nothing was too much trouble. More

Viv and Adrian were great hosts and happy to help make my wife's birthday a special occasion. If we ever walk the path in the opposite direction we'll be back! Highly recommended.

    The setting is beautiful and the accommodation has a very relaxed feel about it. Room and bathrooms are excellent. Breakfast excellent. We will return just to enjoy the accommodation, the pool and location. Thoroughly recommend

They went out... read more of their way to make us comfortable and answer all questions we had. The swimming pool was an added bonus. The room was very comfortable and private, with the luxury of a patio area to sit out on in the evening.
    We would highly recommend this place. Thanks Viv & Adrian for all your help
